Journey on Country is an authentic Aboriginal cultural camping experience set in the ancient landscape of the WA Wheatbelt, hosted at Yarragin Private Retreat near North Kununoppin.
Meet at Noble Falls in Gidgegannup and follow the catchment to Yarragin — where you will spend the night under the stars around the campfire with an Aboriginal Elder, hearing stories of the Nyoongar people, walking on country, and experiencing the profound silence and beauty of this ancient land.

Dr Noel Nannup is one of Western Australia's most respected and beloved Aboriginal educators and storytellers. A proud Nyoongar Elder, Dr Noel has dedicated his life to sharing the wisdom, culture and spiritual teachings of the Nyoongar people with the wider world.
His philosophy of "Carers of Everything" — the Aboriginal understanding of humanity's sacred responsibility to care for country, community and all living things — forms the heart of the Journey on Country experience.
